Rochester's Mayor Brede initiated the 'Litter Bit Better' campaign back in 2006, to "get community members involved in a city-wide litter cleanup effort," according to the city of Rochester website.

So far, the site notes,over 122 tons of litter has been removed from the City of Rochester by 29,000+ volunteers! That's great... but we want to make it even better!

Which is why we're rolling up our sleeves and pitching in this year-- and we need your help!

Join us Wednesday, April 26th, starting at 4pm, along the Zumbro River Trail, near the Hy-Vee Crossroads.

We'll be working our way south along the trail over the next hour, cleaning up discarded all that unsightly litter and trash that's accumulated over our long, Minnesota winter.

And, you can win some cool Quick Country swag and other free stuff just for stopping by! We'll have all the gear you'll need to help us clean up, you just supply the manpower.

You can read more about Rochester's "Litter Bit Better" HERE. We'll see you on the 26th!
