People across Rochester are nearly bursting with excitement as the Chick-Fil-A restaurant continues its construction. And, we now know when it's expected to open its doors!

The news that Chick-Fil-A was building a site in Rochester has been big news for well over a year now. Then, we got even MORE excited when we saw actual construction taking place at its site in the Crossroads Shopping Center, right next to Chipotle.

And now, according to a video posted by the Post Bulletin's Jeff Kiger back on December 22nd, he revealed that the popular fast-food chain could be up and running in the Med City by the end of January.

In the video, Kiger said that while the company has offered an official opening date, he's heard that a team of Chick-Fil-A employees are headed to our fair city "...around January 21st," the video said "...with plans to open the doors on this new place on about January 25th."

The video went on to say those tentative dates may change a bit, but that he bets they're pretty close to accurate. So, if you're a big Chick-Fil-A fan, your long wait to get your chicken sandwich on right here in Rochester is apparently almost over!
