Here’s Why Kip Moore Was in Minnesota Last Weekend

Seeing country stars out and about in Minnesota isn't all that odd -- when they're playing a concert here. But that's NOT why Kip Moore was spotted in the Land of 10,000 Lakes last weekend.

As it turns out, Kip apparently had a little extra time on his hands, and is a big fan of pop star John Mayer.

Because, according to a post on Kip's Instagram account, he and his crew headed up to St. Paul Saturday night to check out John's show at the Xcel Energy Center.

Noted up and coming country star, Lindsey El, was also reportedly at the show, too. (She'll also be headed back to Minnesota later this summer, as part of Brad Paisley's 'Life Amplified' World Tour that'll play Treasure Island Resort and Casino in Red Wing on August 26th).

It's also interesting to me to see which artists our favorite country artists shell out their hard-earned money to check out in-person, like Kip did to see John Mayer Saturday.

And, last year, a TON of country stars (like Tim and Faith) all couldn't wait to see Adele when her tour played a date at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Cool!
