My wife and I had tickets to Saturday night's Paul McCartney show at Target Field, and knowing that he puts on a show that usually lasts nearly three hours, we decided to stay overnight in downtown Minneapolis after the show. We always have a good time hanging out downtown -- even if their landmark location signs might be a little out of date!

Yes, we were enjoy a lovely beverage and some appetizers at McCormick & Schmicks, on the corner of 9th St. South and Nicollet Mall, when I noticed this sign (apologies for the grainy image): It's pointing to the right for the Convention Center, and to the left for Target Field. But check the arrow directly above the Target Field arrow -- yes, it's another left-pointing arrow, but this time, it's an arrow directing you to the Metrodome.

Seeing as the Metrodome was demolished earlier this year (so the new Vikings Stadium can be constructed in its place), it would appear you'd have to go a LONG way left to get to the Dome -- soooo far left of 9th & Nicollet, in fact, that you'd have to go back in time!
