With high temperatures expected to top 90 degrees both Friday and Saturday here in southeast Minnesota, it's sure going to feel like summer. But when was the last time it actually was this warm?

Our dew points are expected to be in the upper 60's (which is considered 'humid' by the weather folks) and pushing 70 degrees (which is considered 'tropical') the next couple of days, which will make it seem pretty hot and muggy.

But our temperatures are also forecast to top 90 degrees both Friday and Saturday (and maybe even Sunday, though right now, Sunday's high is expected to only hit the upper 80's-- which is still about 10 degrees above our average high for mid June.). And, given our relatively cool summers the past couple of years, those high temps are looking pretty warm. Hot, even, you might say.

ABC-6 News, you'd have to go back almost three years-- to August of 2013! Check it out (and crank up the air conditioning, will ya?)
