That's right, checking casino slot machines to make sure they're working correctly is just one of the jobs the Minnesota Department of Public Safety is tasked with doing. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division (DPS-AGED, as it's known) is the group who regularly inspects slot machines at all of Minnesota's 18 casinos to make sure they're working properly and paying out correctly.

According to a post on the DPS-AGED Facebook page, the agency "works with Native American tribes to ensure compliance with the state-tribal agreements so that gaming is fair for all." While I didn't even know there WAS such a division of the Department of Public Safety, it's reassuring to know they're keeping an eye on the machines, isn't it?

So how do they go about doing their job? Check it out...
