When it comes to life here in southeast Minnesota, there are just a few things I don’t get. For instance, why the website of any alcoholic beverage makes you enter your date of birth before you can access their site.

I understand that these sites that promote alcoholic beverages are for designed for adults. Well, not just adults, I guess, because the law says you're technically an adult when you reach the 'age of majority,' which is 18.

But, of course, you still can't purchase an alcoholic beverage until you're 21.(I don't get that, either, but that's a song for another time.)

But why do all these alcoholic beverage sites make you enter your birth date before you can simply view their site? I'm not actually buying and drinking their beverage, mind you, I just want to check out their site.

Does this make any sense? I don't get it... take a look:
