A northern Minnesota family has claimed a monstrous $22.8 million jackpot.

Debbie Kujava of Badger, Minnesota, purchased the winning ticket at a Holiday convenience store in Roseau, Minn. on March 13. According to the story from the Pioneer Press, she originally thought she'd only won $2 million, but it was only after sharing the news with her brother's daughter that they all discovered they had actually won $22.8 million!

On Monday, the family were at the Minnesota State Lottery headquarters to claim their prize in the March 14 drawing. Fun fact: This is the first multi-state Lotto America jackpot won since the game started four months ago... So that's awesome!

By the way, the odds of matching all five Lotto America numbers plus the Star Ball are 1 in nearly 26 million, according to the Lotto America website.

She's splitting the winnings with her brother, Dennis and his two daughters, Denise and Deanna. She also plans to pay off all of her bills and her house, as well as donate to multiple charities.
