Jason Aldean has always been the subject of much chatter, and lately, the buzz has been all about his impending wedding to fiancee Brittany Kerr. Despite rumors, the two lovebirds have not said "I do" yet, but it seems they will very soon!

It was thought the country singer and his future wife would tie the knot around Christmas. But instead of having a holiday wedding, the pair opted for a mid-month engagement celebration, US Weekly reports. Aldean and his bride-to-be celebrated their love with friends and family at a fancy party in Nashville on Saturday (Jan. 17). The guest list included fellow country superstars like Luke Bryan and Eric Church.

The party took place at the Citizen Club, an exclusive club in Music City. Kerr and Aldean looked the part of the bride and groom -- she wore a white frock with intricate beading, he donned his best black suit, sans tie. They had roughly 100 guests at their engagement shindig, as well as a six-tiered cake and a fun photo booth.

“Jason and Brittany are not married," Aldean's rep told Radar Online earlier this week, hoping to stop the misinformation (quote via Inquisitr). "They didn’t get married in the Dominican Republic. They didn’t get married last weekend. The reports are wrong."

Rumors of a Dominican Republic wedding began flying after Aldean and Kerr were pictured with newlyweds Dee Jay Silver and Jenna Michelle Straub. Kerr's white dress had people speculating a possible double wedding. What we do know is that Aldean is happier than ever -- he says so himself: "I'm happier than I have ever been, so thank u to all the people who support us."
