Not even a month after announcing the "official" new feature on Facebook, are they taking it back? 

On September 15th, Mark Zuckerberg made the announcement that Facebook is finally working on a “Dislike” button. “I think people have asked about the dislike button for many years. Today is a special day because today is the day I can say we’re working on it and shipping it,” Zuckerberg said during a Q&A at Facebook’s headquarters. (OR NOT?!)

According to Mashable, the dislike button is dead. Instead, Facebook has started testing "reaction emojis." They are being tested in Ireland and Spain at the moment, with no word on whether we will be seeing them anytime soon.

Here's the seven different emojis to choose from:

  • The "like" button isn't going anywhere (thumbs up)
  • A heart for "love"
  • Laughing face for "haha"
  • Happy face for "yay"
  • A shocked face for "wow"
  • a crying face for "sad"
  • Mad face for "anger"
