Minnesota's own Paul Molitor, a St. Paul native and University of Minnesota alumni, has been hired as the latest manager of the Minnesota Twins, the team announced on Monday.

Bringmethenews.com has the full story HERE.  The Twins made the announcement, and said they'll officially announce Molitor at a news conference at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

It's reported Molitor-- who doesn't have any previous managerial experience-- received a three-year deal.

According to the story, "CBS Sports baseball insider John Heyman says Molitor got the job over the second-through-fourth place finishers, Boston bench coach Torey Lovullo and Twins minor league coaches Gene Glynn and Doug Mientkiewicz."
