It’s International Tuba Day

Today is 'International Tuba Day'. Have you ever played the tuba? Do you know of anyone who has? I remember years ago there was a guy from Stewartville named Steve Boone who played the tuba. It's almost like playing the bass guitar in a band, but with an orchestra. Tuba's are like the Rodney Dangerfields of instruments...they get no respect. And they're hard to take in a parade march.

Have you ever heard of a tuba solo? I didn't think so.

Today is also National Tourism Day, Childhood Depression Awareness Day and National Roast Leg of Lamb Day, so celebrate accordingly. - Alan
