There are a lot of great holiday songs we hear during this time of year, but there are a couple that I just HAVE to hear in order for it to really be the Christmas season.

Sure, there are the classics, like Frank Sinatra's versions of Let It Snow or Jingle Bells, or Dean Martin's I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm. Harry Connick, Jr. also has some great Christmas songs, as does the 80's pop group, Wham, with their now-classic, Last Christmas-- all of which I've already heard this season.

But hearing this song always solidifies the fact that it is, indeed, Christmas. It reminds me of being about 4 or 5 years old and hearing my dad play it on the record player in our living room on Brown Boulevard in my hometown of Rothschild, WI, while he was setting up our Christmas tree so I could help decorate it. It's Glen Campbell's version of Old Toy Trains, from his 1968 album, That Christmas Feeling. Roger Miller originally wrote the song, but this Glen's take on it is the version I remember, and it's just not Christmas until I hear it. Take a listen...
