It’s Saturday, and Once Again It’s Early Church! [MUSIC + VIDEO]

EARLY CHURCH is a Saturday weekly website feature here at Quick Country DOT com concocted by Steve Richards.

Eric Church has been defined as one with a bad-boy persona, a relentless taste for performing LIVE,  and as a country music force to be reckoned with. Church has received critical acclaim with regards to his song writing, and with the release of his last two studio albums, 'The Outsiders', and his platinum selling 'Chief' album and subsequent hits from BOTH those albums.

has made it well known thru his Blog Post's at Quick Country DOT com, the Quick Country Facebook Page & Twitter Page that he is a loyal Eric Church fan who has seen Eric & his band perform 16 times in concert (and counting), and simply wishes to share the superb song writing nuggets of Eric's early years. Some may remember Eric's July 2006 performance at the Down By The Riverside Concert Series in Mayo Park following the release of his first album.

EARLY CHURCH  focuses on Eric's early years. The 2006  'Sinners Like Me' album release, and the 2009 'Carolina' Capital-Nashville effort, chocked-full of tasty song writing nuggets that may not have garnered radio hits like his most recent singles; but would certainly define his climb from obscurity from small clubs & venues to a major touring powerhouse delivering record-breaking attendance records, not to mention attracting a very loyal fan base who he himself is very loyal to as well.

Not once out of 16 LIVE performances do I recall this song being played to an audience. I have seen it pop-up in a setlist recently as a Fan Request, but not at a show that I have attended. Later this month I'll be attending an all-acoustic performance at the BRAND NEW Ascend Amphitheater in downtown Nashville. I'm not a betting man, but I have a hunch he'll be playing it at one of those 2 acoustic shows July 30th & 31st 2015.
