He's one of country music's most genuine voices, and now Jamey Johnson, the Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter and Country Music Association Award-winner, is headed back to Minnesota to play a show this summer here Rochester at Mayo Civic Center.

Jamey's show at Mayo Civic Center's Preservation Hall is set for Sunday, July 22nd. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the show starting at 8 p.m. Tickets officially go on sale on Friday, February 9th at 10 a.m.

The Washington Post considers the country singer/songwriter to be “one of the greatest country singers of our time.”  His 2008 album, That Lonesome Song, was certified platinum for 1 million in sales, and his 2010 double album, The Guitar Song, received a gold certification.

In addition, he won two Song of the Year Trophies, for  “Give It Away” and “In Color,” both from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association, and has received six Grammy nominations. He has received tremendous praise from The New York Times, Rolling Stone, The Wall Street Journal and other publications, many of which have hailed his albums as masterpieces.
