I was a snare drummer in my high school band's drumline back at D.C. Everest High School in Schofield, WI. We competed in the state marching band championships every fall, and performed at halftime of home football games. We even took a few trips, too, but never to someplace as fun as the John Marshall Rockets Marching Band is doing right now.

While the Marching Evergreens (seriously, that was our mascot-- a tree) headed north to Winnipeg, Canada on our trip when I was a senior, the JM bands have been soaking up the sun and fun in Florida.
