Kacey Musgraves took the stage at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to perform her new single, "Rainbow."

Dressed in a simple white dress that provided a sharp contrast to her dark hair, Musgraves stepped out from behind her guitar to take center stage and deliver the song in a stark, simple rendition, her clear voice mesmerizing the crowd as it floated out over simple piano chords.

The song is an encouragement to a loved one to take the time to see the good things in their life.

"Well the sky is finally open, the rain and wind stopped blowin' / But you're stuck out in the same old storm again / You hold tight to your umbrella, darlin' I'm just tryin' to tell ya / That there's always been a rainbow hangin' over your head," she sang in the chorus.

"Rainbow" is Musgraves' latest single from her acclaimed third studio album, Golden Hour. Musgraves was one of the most-nominated artists going into the 2019 Grammy Awards, and she took home the trophies for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance earlier Sunday during the non-televised portion of the Grammys. Golden Hour is also nominated for Best Country Album and the all-genre Album of the Year.

Musgraves is also set to perform as part of an all-star tribute to Dolly Parton during the 61st Grammy Awards.
