I'll never forget the time I met Kevin Garnett (well, sort of met him, anyway)...

My basketball team went to state for the fourth time. I knew we were going to play at Target Center, so I was having these crazy dreams of meeting KG. He came up to me, gave me a hug, and told me how awesome I played (in the dream).

Well, we get there, we play, we win and up until this point we didn't see any Timberwolves players, until we were about to leave! My team was yelling for me over and over. I was SO confused, but when I walked out of the locker room it all made sense. There HE was! Walking right by us, standing a million feet tall. I saw him, and instead of saying hi, I just screamed!

After this embarrassing meeting, I went to my mom in the stands with this GIANT medal around my neck. She said, "OMG Samm, you just won state, how do you feel?"

My response, "I just met KEVIN GARNETT!"

"That's awesome! What did you say?"

"Ummm... nothing. I just screamed!"

If there's a restraining order against me, I wouldn't be surprised!
