Harvest Jam is set for September 10th at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds, with Rodney Atkins headlining the show. However, there are some other great bands appearing on the American Heroes stage, too– including JT & The Gunslingers.

After appearing on-stage at last year's Harvest Jam (opening for Craig Morgan), JT & The Gunslingers have continued to grow in popularity. We're lucky to have them back again this year. Here's more about the band, courtesy of their website:

"JT & the Gunslingers attack the stage with a veracity that is seldom seen in bands together for this short amount of time. But, make no mistake, they bring decades of experience to the stage.

With JT Thompson at the helm, back from Special Ops in Afghanistan as an Army Ranger, who had a songwriting contract offer from Paramount Writers Group in Nashville, to Jimmy Riot who's played bass on Leno, Letterman, Kimmel and Kilborn, and was band leader for Alexa Ray Joel, to Todd Owen on lead guitar who has been the area's reigning guitar player for over a decade and shared the stage with the likes of Dale Watson, to Eric Amundrud the Nashville Drum Doctor on the kit, SE MN's #1 go-to drummer for years.

Just within their first year they have played with Nashville acts Jake McVey, Craig Morgan, and Montgomery Gentry. They also played in Georgia for all the current active US Army Rangers at Ranger Rendezvous. Already in 2016, they’ve played with Joe Diffie, Sammy Kershaw, Charlie Daniels, and Sawyer Brown. Also in 2016, they played the Mid-west’s widely popular music festival, Country Fest in Cadott, WI along with other festivals such as South Goes North and Volksfest."
