Lady Antebellum had a flawless performance of the National Anthem on Saturday (May 7) at the Kentucky Derby, despite some rain showers.

Moments after the trio took the stage, the wind picked up and the rain poured down, staying throughout the entirety of their nearly two-minute performance. While viewers attending the Kentucky Derby took cover under umbrellas and tarp, Lady A weren't so lucky. Demonstrating that the show must go on, Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood made the most of it while singing in the rain.

"What a CRAZY way to sing the National Anthem!!! A moment we will never forget @kentuckyderby! And I've never been more thankful for a hat!!" Scott captioned on Instagram alongside a photo of the drenched band moments after their performance.

After taking some time off the road to focus on individual projects, Lady Antebellum gear up for a summer tour the end of the month. The band will kick things off May 27 in Baton Rouge, La. at Bayou Country Superfest and will visit over 20 cities for tour and festival dates.

While the trio may have taken some time off from touring together, they continue to support each other's solo projects. Scott recently visited Kelley at a tour stop in California where she and friend Kelsea Ballerini surprised the audience for a special performance of "Need You Now" and a cover of John Waitt's 1984 hit "Missing You."

A fun time for all three artists, Scott posted a photo of the performance on her Instagram page, explaining there was no way she’d miss the show.

“When one of your best friends @charleskelley sells out the #Troubadour you go…and then our girl @kelseaballerini showed up and then SO many things were right about the world!” she writes as the caption.
