An annual Fourth of July fireworks show put on by Larry the Cable Guy at his family's private resort in northwestern Wisconsin got a little out of hand this year.

The popular comedian, whose real name is Daniel Lawrence Whitney, has owned a nice piece of property along the shore of Long Lake for years and his holiday fireworks shows have become a fun summer tradition for people living or staying in cabins and homes in the area north of Rice Lake, Wisconsin. This year's show, staged on July 3rd, was rumored to be a big one, and while it was BIG, it was awfully short.

It resulted in a fantastic, but brief patriotic display that completely destroyed the pontoon boats and the lake shore property owner reported that one of the boats sank.
