Law Would Ban Tattoos Regardless Of Parental Consent

I don't have a tattoo or piercing, so I guess it wouldn't matter to me. A LOT of people do have tattoo's. Do you think the law that they are proposing in Utah will pass? Do you think it's right? - Alan

There’s a bill is Utah that would ban everyone from under 18 from getting a tattoo even if their parents say it’s okay.

The bill is currently in the state House and if passed, it would make it illegal for minors to get a tattoo, no exceptions.

Tattoo artists who violate the bill could be hit with up to 90 days in jail, face a $1,500 fine and could be held responsible for the cost of the tattoo removal.
