Lay’s ‘Tastes of America’ Potato Chips Includes 8 New Bold Flavors

For a company that only had three, yes THREE flavors for almost 80 years (Original, Barbecue, and Sour Cream & Onion) they've really experimented and let their fans have a say in their product the past couple years!

I mean, since 2012 Lay’s has proven that they can put almost any flavor on a potato chip and people will at least try it. Well get ready to tickle your taste buds even more because according to USA TODAY, Lay’s has now released 8 new ‘Taste of America’ chips inspired by local cuisines from across the country.

The newest flavors include:

• Cajun Spice
• Chili con Queso
• Chicago Deep Dish Pizza
• Chesapeake Bay Crab Spice
• Fried Pickles with Ranch
• New England Lobster Roll
• Pimento Cheese
• Sweet Thai Chili.

The only down side is the chip flavors will only be available in the region they are (allegedly) popular in. If you want to taste all of them, you’ll have to order a variety pack directly from Lay’s.

If I could pick an early winner, I'd bet Fried Pickles with Ranch would easily come out on top. However, since I despise pickles, I think Chile con Queso sounds delicious!

The chips will be in stores for a limited time starting on July 30th.
