Were you able to make it down to Mayo Civic Center for Friday's Little Big Town show? If not, you missed an incredible time! LBT's intricate harmonies were just as intact as when I first saw them almost nine years ago in La Crosse, when they opened for John Mellencamp.

Quick Country's Steve Richards captured some great shots not only of LBT, but also of the Brothers Osborne and Brett Eldridge, both of whom opened the show here in Rochester Friday. I thought it was also very cool of LBT to have all those guys come back on-stage for a combined version of the classic Elvis holiday song, Santa Claus Is Back In Town.

I can see why both Little Big Town and Brett Eldridge are reigning CMA award winners; they're both REALLY good-- and both really good in concert. I enjoyed Brett's latest single, Mean To Me, as well as his version of the Bob Seger hit, Night Moves. I also enjoyed LBT's version of the Fleetwood Mac hit, The Chain.

My favorite, however, is one of LBT's earliest singles, Bring It On Home, from their 'The Road To Here' album. It's always been one of my favorites, and I was glad I was able to see them do it here in Rochester.

All in all, it was a great show, and we're lucky some big-time country stars aren't too big yet to play our own Mayo Civic Center!
