Looking For A Furry Friend? Pet Adoption Event Happening Thursday in Rochester

If you're looking to add a furry friend to your family, there's a great pet adoption event happening Thursday night right here in Rochester!

I've had LOTS of pets over the years - I had four dogs and two cats at one point - and they've all been rescues. Heck, right now, my wife Katie and I share our home with four rescue cats.

Which is why this event tonight from Secondhand Hounds at Lupient Nissan in Rochester is so great! It's running tonight (Thursday, June 29) from 6-8 p.m. at the Lupient Nissan dealership, along Highway 52.

I'm a big supporter of animal rescues like Secondhand Hounds - my wife and I both volunteer at Paws and Claws, and we adopted one of our cats (that'd be Huck) from Camp Companion as well. (Adopt, don't shop!)

Secondhand Hounds is a great rescue, too. They're based up in Eden Prairie, and since their founding in 2009, they've found homes for over 11,000 dogs, cats and critters. Well done! And shout-out to Lupient Nissan for hosting this great event!
