It seems like there's a new study out every other day that has the latest tips for losing weight and staying healthy. But this study seems like one I could get behind.

This is about all I have time to eat for breakfast-- what about you? (CSJ/TSM-Rochester)

We've heard for awhile now that 'breakfast is the most important meal of the day,' right? Which seems to make sense-- you have to put a little fuel in the tank in order to hit the ground running each morning. (And, of course, a little caffeine, too. Or, more than a little, in my case.)

But THIS new study says, if you want to lose weight, you shouldn't only eat breakfast; you should eat TWO breakfasts. That's right, they say you ought to eat a small breakfast first, just to jump-start your metabolism. Grab something like a piece of fruit or a small snack.

Then, the study says you should eat a BIGGER breakfast a few hours later, one that's more protein-rich (like bacon and eggs) that will keep you full until lunch, so you're not tempted to reach into that big box of donuts someone inevitably brings into work.

You can read the full story HERE. It sounds like it makes sense to me. But I wonder how practical it really is. I usually have one of those breakfast bars shortly after I get to the station each morning, at about 4:30 a.m.

Once I'm off the air at 10 a.m., I should then be eating a bigger breakfast, the study says. But my schedule doesn't really allow for that-- not that I wouldn't want to, though. But could you afford to take a breakfast break, and a lunch break? I'm thinking that's not going to be too easy for most people to do.

What about you-- what do you have for breakfast? And could you get behind this 'double-breakfast' study?
