This weekend I'm busting-down the music genre' barriers and tossing them aside. (they're not really that far apart anyway!) -Steve \m/\m/

This past Weds evening at TCF Bank Stadium - Minneapolis I was able check another item off my rather lengthy 'Bucket-List'. Though I had seen the Rolling Stones perform before in '97 on their 'Bridges To Babylon' Tour while living in SE WI (Camp Randall -Madison), what I had NOT seen before was one of my favorite female recording artist open for the Stones, performing with them on stage; INSERT : Grace Potter !

Yes, that's the same Grace Potter who has worked with Kenny Chesney on a couple of his past  hits. Most recently, 'Wild Child', 'You & Tequila', and El' Cerito Place.

What was so special about this past Weds nite was the fact that Grace would be performing with the undisputed BIGGEST BAND IN THE WORLD, and I would be there to witness that. Also, my position on the front row rail at the very end of the stage walkway.

The whole event was surreal to a point as it did not really hit me with the enormity of this spectacle until the following morning, after only 4 hours of sleep. What I was reminded of is that age has no impact on rock & roll. Mick Jagger, and his bandmates would again prove that. Simply, It's all about ATTITUDE!
