Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A man was shot outside a southeast Rochester home Sunday night and at last report, police were looking for a suspect.

Police say the man is in his 30’s and was visiting friends at the home located in the 100 block of 19th St SE, a few blocks south of the county fairgrounds.

A spokesman says the victim - who is not from Rochester - was apparently standing in the street in front of the home around 10:30 when shots were fired from a passing vehicle and he was hit multiple times. The man was taken to St. Marys and was expected to undergo surgery. A spokesman says it appears the injuries were non-life threatening.

It’s believed the victim was attending a Super Bowl party at the home.
