While the weather this past weekend in Minnesota was warm, things got REALLY warm for passengers aboard a Megabus headed to Minneapolis.

The Megabus, which was leaving Chicago headed to Minneapolis, wasn't too far along in its journey to Minnesota when it burst into flames in the Chicago suburb of Lake Forest. BringMeTheNews said the driver and around 40 passengers were forced to hurry off the bus, which caught fire while in the southbound lane of Route 41.

According to the BMTN story,  "A New York Times travel writer was onboard the bus and witnessed the incident, reporting that most of the luggage was left behind in the quick evacuation and 'incinerated.'"

Fortunately, no one was injured in the blaze-- even if most of their luggage was burned in the fire.
