If you're a fan Guy Fieri's Food Network show “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives,” then you might see an episode soon that features yet another restaurant that's located right here in Minnesota.

Yes, according to a story in BringMeTheNews.com, the TV host and crew from the popular cable show was recently spotted at Bayport BBQ, located near Stillwater. According to the story:

"The restaurant in Bayport, near Stillwater, will be featured in the coming months on Fieri’s popular show, which highlights independent restaurants that serve up top comfort food.

Fieri and his crew visited the eatery at 328 5th Ave N. earlier this month, with the BBQ joint sharing several pictures taken during filming on its Facebook page."

The story goes on to note that this recent episode featuring a Minnesota restaurant wasn't the first one featured on the show, either. "Others featured include Nye’s Polonaise and Victor’s 1959 Cafe in Minneapolis, the Nook in St. Paul, Donatelli’s in White Bear Lake, Gordy’s Hi-Hat in Cloquet and the Northern Waters Smokehouse in Duluth."

Even though I've never been to Bayport BBQ, their appearance on the show is still pretty cool. A friend of mine, who now lives in New Orleans, once appeared on an episode of the show that was filmed at a restaurant near their house down in Louisiana. My friend even appeared on camera saying, "It's where the locals go!" Which, of course, caused her friends to point out that, because she's actually from Wisconsin, she wasn't really qualified to make that statement, even though she's lived in Louisiana now for over a decade.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the latest representative of the Land of 10,000 Lakes appears on national TV.
