Roundabouts are popping up on highways and roads all across Minnesota. They're usually not tough navigate through-- unless you're the driver of this RV, that is.

Check out this surveillance video that was recorded right here in Minnesota late last month. According to YouTube user Jeffery Ayers, the video was shot near Worthington, about two and a half hours west of Rochester, back on October 29th.

It shows an RV going way too fast through the roundabout, barreling over the raised center, and then crashing to a halt on the other side. (It's accompanied, appropriately, by the theme song from the Dukes of Hazzard.)

Right now, Minnesota has about 200 roundabouts on highways and roadways across the state. And, MnDOT says, despite how this RV drives through one, they're actually making things much safer. A new study released earlier this fall showed there wasn't a single traffic fatality at any of Minnesota's roundabouts last year-- which was an over 80% reduction from those same intersections before the roundabout was built.
