We've heard all the jokes - Minnesota is so cold, it's warmer in your freezer... This is no joke though! A town in Minnesota experienced such bitter temps last week that the water tower froze! 

Residents of Kennedy experienced a brief water outage after the water tower froze. Kennedy is about 60 miles north of East Grand Forks, in the northwestern corner of Minnesota.

Overnight temperatures fell to 27 below zero in nearby Hallock, according to the National Weather Service.
