Would you risk falling into the frigid water of a Minnesota lake in the middle of February to try to rescue your dog who'd gone in the water? I know I would-- and that's exactly what this Duluth woman did, too. Except SHE then needed to be rescued.

According to BringMeTheNews, It all happened Wednesday in Duluth's Park Point, when a woman saw that her dog, who was walking ahead of her, had fallen into what officials called the 'frigid' water. She immediately went to rescue her dog, but then fell in herself. She was stranded in the extremely cold 4-foot deep water, when luckily, a man walked by and noticed what was happening. He called 911 and then went to help rescue the woman.

Thankfully, everything turned out alright-- the dog and the woman were both okay-- thanks to the quick work of the passerby. Talk about being in the right place at the right time! I know I'd have done the same thing-- both I if I saw my dog slip into the water, or if I'd come upon the same scene. Check out the story below from the Duluth Police Department's Facebook page:
