This whole beer-for-breakfast thing might be catching on. Last week, Minnesota's own General Mills announced it was teaming up to make a Wheaties beer, and now, the company now its seasonal Count Chocula cereal will again appear in a beer, as well.

While last week's announcement about HefeWheaties beer indicated the brew won't actually contain any Wheaties cereal, that's not the case for the Count Chocula-inspired beer. It IS made with the chocolate and marshmallow cereal, and it actually made its debut a year ago.

According to KARE 11, Cerealiously Count Chocula will be back on tap at the Black Bottle Brewery in Fort Collins, Colorado later this month. But this time, the cereal will be supplied by directly by Minnesota's General Mills. Last year, brewers at Black Bottle apparently bought up all the Count Chocula cereal they could find at local grocery stores, which angered some Colorado fans of the seasonal cereal, which is usually only available around Halloween.

Looking to try some? You'll have to head west to Fort Collins, where the beer will be on tap at Black Bottle Brewery starting August 25th. Or, you can check it out at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver in September.

Here's a  2014 story about how the cereal born in Minnesota inspired a beer brewed out in Colorado...
