Miranda Lambert is the cover girl for Cosmopolitan's first-ever country issue. She's sassy in denim and a low-cut tee on the front of the mag, but inside, the "Tin Man" singer opens up about life, love and music.

An excerpt of the interview has Lambert sharing the best compliment she's ever received: "I threw away my scale because of you. You made me realize that weight doesn’t define beauty," she recalls a fan telling her.

Lambert famously dropped a dress size in 2013, motivated by her (at the time) upcoming 30th birthday. "You want people to notice when you’ve worked hard and feel good,” she said years back. "That’s part of the reward. It’s a great motivator."

Back in 2017, inside the pages of Cosmo, Lambert gushes about her proudest career moment — it was singing for Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson at the Kennedy Center Honors — and her dream dinner with Elvis Presley.

"I’d pick Elvis, and we’d eat chicken fried steak and drink a lot," she says.

Lambert has always said that her guilty pleasures are Titos and Cheetos, but she relieves stress by riding horses, sipping wine and going glamping. But for those days that she's on the verge of a meltdown, boyfriend Anderson East is one phone call away. Lambert has learned a thing or two about relationships, and even after divorce feels that love is "big and it's worth it."
