Sure, 2017 might already be underway, but I'm still looking back at last year, and the top five concerts I saw in 2016.

#5 - Jon Pardi - Down By The Riverside Concert Series - Jon headed here to Rochester just as his hit single, Head Over Boots, was on top of the charts and he put on a fantastic show. Of course, it's always a great time during the Down By The Riverside shows, and last year's weather for Jon's show was perfect.

#4 - Dierks Bentley - Chippewa Valley Country Fest  - My wife and I were lucky enough to get front row seats from a friend of mine to see Dierks headline the Thursday night show at Country Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin. And, let me tell you, Dierks is the real deal. He put on an incredible show that really highlighted his vast catalogue of great songs-- most of which he writes.

Garth, from the 6th row, in Las Vegas.

#3 & #2 - Garth Brooks - Las Vegas T-Mobile Arena / Ascend Amphitheatre in Nashville - Thanks to my wife (who's a HUGE Garth fan), we were lucky enough to see Garth twice last year, on the 4th of July in Vegas and again in October at the new outdoor Ascend Amphitheatre in Nashville. Garth, of course, ALWAYS puts on a great show and seeing him twice was pretty cool.

#1 - Keith Urban / Brett Eldredge / Maren Morris - Target Center - This show gets the top nod in my book of live shows last year, simply because it showcased three incredible country artists who all do fantastic live shows. Keith Urban, who I've seen live now 4 or 5 times, might be the best entertainer/musician I've ever seen. And Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris did a fantastic job opening for Keith when his Ripcord tour hit Minnesota, as well.

What were your favorite concerts from last year?
