New Indoor Family Entertainment Center to Be Built Near Twin Cities

Sony Pictures and a Minnesota development group plan to build a Hollywood-themed indoor family entertainment center in Albertville, near the Twin Cities.

Developers call the $115 million project, 'the mall of entertainment' that will include a hotel and a large waterpark. The amusement park will include movie characters and themes based on Sony's movies like 'Men in Black' and the 'Smurfs.'

Developers are expected to break ground this summer, with an opening planned for late next year. (Kim David - KROC AM News Dept.)
