New Lifesaving Roundabout At Highway 42 & 14 Intersection Near Eyota is Coming

I used to live in Plainview and would go through that intersections many times. It's even worse in the morning and evening when the sun is on the horizon. There have been many, many accidents and deaths at the intersection of highway 14 & 42, near the fuel tanks at Eyota.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced that they will start on a new roundabout at that intersection.
According to MnDot's project manager Paul Schauer, work will start on April 13th and they will close that area for a detour on May 4th.
