It's been under construction now for awhile, but Rochester's newest pizza restaurant is set to open to the public this Monday.

Seeing as it's so close to the Quick Country 96.5 studios, (literally located across the parking lot from our back door!) we've been keeping a close eye on the progress of the new Pasquale’s Neighborhood Pizzeria.

It's located on the corner of First Avenue and Fifth Street in southwest Rochester, in the street level of the new 501 On First apartments.

I've been walking by the building as its been under construction the past few months, and am excited for it to open. And according to the Pasquale’s Facebook page, the pizzeria and an adjoining pastry and coffee shop (called 'La Dolce Vita') are set to open Monday.

There'll be a ribbon-cutting ceremony and 'soft opening' for friends and family this weekend.

Specifically, their post says, "While the ribbon cutting is on Friday, the 2,775-square-foot restaurant and adjacent pastry and coffee shop, called La Dolce Vita, won't be fully open for business until Monday. Pasquale plans to give his staff time work out the kinks with a "soft opening" during the weekend for friends and family."

Looks like I know where I'll be going for lunch on Monday!
