The Minnesota Wild traded for Jordan Leopold after his 11-year-old daughter sent the team a letter.

The defenseman who is from Minnesota was traded back home from the Columbus Blue Jackets at the trade deadline yesterday (Monday).

And it turns out his daughter Jordyn sent the Wild a letter asked the team to trade for him so he can be reunited with his family.

She wrote that her dad is lonely without them and she is lost without her dad. Check out the whole letter here.
