Not Meatloaf…FEET loaf!

With Halloween a week and a half away, we decided to get in the spirit by making something 'scary' for our meals this week. My girlfriend's son, Brendan and I each made a foot.

I'm sure you've seen the Pinterest pictures of the meatloaf 'feetloaf'. I did, so we decided to give it a try. My foot was modeled after Fred Flintstone, with only 4 toes. Brendan's was 'true to scale', with 5 toes.

We took 3 lbs. of hamburger and added crushed garlic salad croutons, along with salt, pepper and dried onions. I also added a slice of onion to resemble the bones in the foot. We also used part of an onion for the toenails. We baked it at 350 for about an hour. After we took it out, we added ketchup to resemble the blood.

With the garlic flavored croutons, the meat was flavored perfectly! Have you ever done anything like this? What was it? - Alan
