Rochester, MN (KROC AM News)  – An Owatonna man was seriously injured early Saturday after being struck by a car on Highway 14.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 30 year old Jesse Lemm was standing in the eastbound right hand lane of the highway near Owatonna around 12:45 a.m. when he was struck. He was airlifted to St. Mary’s where he was listed in critical condition Sunday morning. The State Patrol says alcohol was detected in his system.

A Crookston woman was killed Saturday night when the motorcycle she was riding struck a deer. The motorcycle was driven by 44 year old Corey Reitmeier, the victim’s husband. He suffered non-life threatening injuries. The State Patrol says they were not wearing helmets.

The wreck happened around 9 p.m. near Crookston in northwest Minnesota.
