Congratulations to the Plainview/Elgin-Millville Bulldogs varsity cheerleading coach Sharon Tice, who won 'Coach of the year' at the Minnesota Cheerleading Coaches Association awards banquet last night.

Sharon and her husband Bill have been instrumental in many state championships for the Plainview/Elgin-Millville Bulldogs. The PEM varsity cheer team has won an incredible 6 state championships in a row!

Last year in the grand champion round, they were rated one of the ‘Top 5 BEST teams in Minnesota’.

The PEM Bulldogs have been nominated for the ‘Sportsman’s Cup’. They’ve won it 2 of the last 3 years.

And when it comes to the ‘Competition Cheer teams,’ PEM has won 4 state championships in a row and are undefeated in 3 years.

Today, Saturday, January 30th, there will be 87 teams competing at the Minnesota Competitive Cheerleading Association at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul. There will be 11 teams competing in the middle school division. Congratulations to the PEM Bulldogs and to their incredible coach, Sharon Tice, from all of us here at Quick Country 96.5. – Alan
