Granted, there are many more pressing issues about which I could be upset (talk about your first world problems, right?) but this has always been a pet peeve of mine: people who pull only part way into a parking spot and don't straighten their vehicle in the space!

Another poorly parked vehicle I've encountered. See how crooked this van is in relation to the lines?

And I'm not sure why-- it could be just because I notice it more now-- but it seems like this phenomenon is much more common here in Rochester than in any other place in which I've lived. I've noticed a TON of vehicles parked crookedly in spaces at stores, shopping centers, restaurants and parking ramps throughout the Med City.

I've also noticed this parking 'crime' is usually committed by bigger vehicles, like SUV's, minivans and trucks. But not always-- I've seen many a sedan or sports car stupidly parked like this, as well. Sometimes, these morons park their vehicles so poorly, the space next to them is unusable. And I have more than a couple of dents and dings in my vehicle that were no doubt created by somebody who couldn't figure out how to park their vehicle correctly. Have you ever noticed this phenomenon?

When I see a vehicle parked like this (much like the one I encountered above to the left) it always makes me wonder: So, what's the deal? Is it too difficult to straighten your vehicle out? Is it too time consuming? Wait, I get it. The driver is SOOO busy, they can't take the additional 10 seconds needed to park their vehicle evenly between the lines, right?  Come on, man. Learn how to park!  It's not that difficult!  Here's a handy video that even shows how to do it!
