The weekend before Thanksgiving was an action-packed one, filled with pre-holiday chores while trying to get used to our now-cold weather. Check out what I did...

The temperature was a warm 56 degrees Friday morning, but that all changed Friday afternoon and it stayed cold all weekend. It was as if we suddenly went from late summer...all the way to the holiday season almost overnight.

After waking up Saturday do discover that big snowstorm that hit parts of Minnesota pretty much avoided our area, the lingering cold allowed me to kick-off the holiday season with a mug of some Peppermint Mocha.

Then we did some holiday shopping this weekend-- including getting our Thanksgiving turkey for Thursday's dinner-- and I got our snowblower out of storage and ready to go. And we listened to some Christmas music, too.

Fall is definitely on the way out-- and the holidays are here! Take a look:
