Planter’s ‘Nut Mobile’ Spotted in Rochester

Things are beginning to get a little nutty in here-- check out what I spotted late Wednesday afternoon in downtown Rochester.

A little online research told me that this vehicle is, in fact, owned by Planter's Peanuts. It's Mr. Peanut's NUTMobile, and according to their website, it's currently on tour across the country.

It looks like the NUTmobile was most recently in Bloomington, Indiana; Chicago, Illinois; and Madison, Wisconsin before it somehow made its way here to the Med City.

We're not listed on their itinerary, but perhaps it might make an appearance during Friday's Rochesterfest Grand Parade? This blog entry says Mr. Peanut recently spent a week here in the State of Hockey, but that post says it's nearly a month old. I happened to spot the NUTmobile parked along 5th St. SW in downtown Rochester Thursday, but it was gone this morning when I got to the station.
