Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - It’s been disclosed that all three of the men who were shot in Rochester Monday afternoon were involved in the armed robbery of the suspected shooter two hours before the shooting.

Police Captain John Sherwin says shooting suspect Courtney Ocegueda was in a car with 22-year-old Trumane Gillmore, 20-year-old Demonterious Jackson and 18-year-old Jerome Zachary when it arrived at the Rochester Square Apartments complex around noon Monday. Sherwin says a video recording shows those three exit the car and walk into the building’s lobby area. It also shows Gillmore and Zachary return to the car where they apparently told Ocegueda to get out. He got out with his hands raised and Gillmore and Zachary can be seen going through his pockets and taking his watch before he ran off.

Just after 2 p.m., the three robbery suspects were playing basketball on a road at the Parkside Mobile Home Park when they were shot. Gillmore was killed and the other two were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Jackson and Zachary are currently in custody and are expected to be charged Friday with robbing Ocegueda.
