Albert Lea, MN  (KROC AM News) -  The apprehension of four teenagers in Albert Lea has caught the attention of Rochester police investigators.

The Albert Lea Police Department was given information concerning burglaries at Verizon stores in Mason City and Forest City, Iowa. The department was told to be on the lookout for a white vehicle with four occupants. An Albert Lea officer spotted the suspect vehicle pull up to the front doors of the local Verizon Wireless store around 5:00 AM Wednesday.

The suspects were taken into custody without incident.

Police say the suspects are from the Twin Cities.

The Rochester Verizon store near Target North was hit by four male burglars last Thursday. Police said they were only in the store for 20 seconds but made off with phones and other items worth thousands of dollars. Police said the thieves smashed the glass in the front door to get inside.

Investigators are trying to determine if the suspects caught in Albert Lea were also involved in the Rochester burglary.
