Val and I hit the streets to check out the progress of Election 2016 yesterday morning, and found Democracy was alive and well in the Med City.

While we stopped by our first polling place yesterday (in the old Senior Center building on 2nd St. NW in Rochester) and found a lull in the voting action, we decided to check out how things were going elsewhere.

We hit up the polling place at the Rochester Public Schools Edison Administration Building, at the corner of 6th St and 6th Av SW, and sure enough, we witnessed the raw power of Democracy in action! And while the lines weren't out the door, as some other parts of Minnesota were reporting, we DID see at least a few fellow citizens out doing the civic duty.

(And, we were able to hand out a few Rochester's Country Leader/Quick Country 96.5 t-shirts, too.)

How were the lines when you voted yesterday?
