If you were watching KTTC-TV yesterday, you saw the end of an era: Chief Meteorologist Randy Brock powered up the weather radar for the last time.

That's right, southeast Minnesota's favorite local weather guy worked his last day in the Precision Weather Center (which IS actually located right there on the news set, just as it appears on TV) yesterday.

Brock is leaving KTTC and FOX-47 to begin a career in real estate, a new career that will hopefully give him a more flexible schedule-- one that will allow him to spend more time with his family. A weeknight TV anchor's schedule (working every weekday from 2 to 10:35 p.m. or later) isn't very family-friendly, especially when you have several school-age kids.

Randy had been at KTTC since 2002, and Devin Bartolotta put together a nice look back at his days forecasting our weather here in southeast Minnesota last night:
